Afghanistan, “president will be elected by universal suffrage”

A president elected by universal suffrage with his ministers in part chosen by the president himself and in part by a religious Supreme Guide, at the top of the institutional structure with the task of directing all the organs of the State and who makes use of a Superior Council constituted by 12 notables. This guide is likely to directly appoint some positions relating to the areas of security, intelligence and justice. According to Adnkronos from informed sources, this could be the ‘form’ of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, a model very similar to that of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Parliament should be structured like the current one, with two chambers and representatives elected by the people.
