Pope in Slovakia: Conditions and rules for events – SME.sk

BRATISLAVA. The Conference of Bishops of Slovakia published on the website www.navstevapapeza.sk conditions and rules for attending individual public events with Pope Francis.

They are available in the section Program – Participation opportunities. It contains special information for Prešov, Košice and Šaštín. TASR was informed about this by the KBS Press Office.

“The visit of the Holy Father Francis is imminent. In order to be well prepared for it, we bring a series of conditions and rules that must be observed in each place. At the same time, we still encourage everyone to register. We especially encourage people in parishes to help with registration by those who want to take part in events with Pope Francis and do not have the technical possibilities to do so, “said KBS spokesman Martin Kramara.

Kramara added, at the same time informing that in the instructions it is possible to find the exact places from which it will be possible to move to meetings with the pope.

The novelty on the website contains information on the conditions of participation, registration, transport, interceptor car parks, shuttle transport and spiritual training. There is no lack of information to participate in the meeting with the Holy Father in Prešov, Košice and Šaštín.

There is also information on when the entrance gates will be opened at the given events, how the sectors will be filled or how the control will be carried out, but also what to prepare for it. It is also information on when and where roads and sectors will be closed, such as basic safety instructions or assistance points.

Pope Francis on a September visit to Slovakia he will visit Bratislava, Košice, Prešov and Šaštín. It will meet with the three highest constitutional officials, but also representatives of the Jewish or Roma community. In Šaštín, the Holy Mass with the homily of the Holy Father is on the program.
