Slovak hockey defender Martin Fehérváry will not help the national team in the upcoming Olympic qualification. He was excluded from the fighting by a minor muscle injury, which requires a week’s break, the official website of the association informed.

The implementation team called a deputy. “Martin Bučko joined the team, who as a substitute passed the necessary tests with a negative result. He took his place in the team at the Riga Championships. We are therefore happy to help us in qualifying as well, “ said assistant general manager Oto Haščák about the 21-year-old defender.

Martin Bučko worked at HC Dynamo Pardubice last season. He competed in the world championships in Riga in five matches, in which he managed to score once. In the new competition year, he will work in the club of the Czech highest competition Motor České Budějovice.
