One hundred and thirty in Bratislava. Highway drivers are preparing big changes in traffic – HNonline.sk

In Bratislava, traffic signs are to be added that will dynamically change speed, regulate driving in individual lanes or draw attention to short-term dangerous situations. The changes will take effect gradually from midnight on August 26.

So above each lane there will be signs that drivers will have to follow. The aim is to reduce the occurrence of columns, improve the flow and safety of traffic or eliminate time losses for drivers.

In the first phase, the novelty is being introduced on the D1 motorway in Bratislava from the Bratislava Pečňa junction to the Vajnory exit. In the second stage, D2 will follow from Mlynská dolina to Jarovka. The mentioned sections will be excluded from the infrastructure of the city and driving on them will therefore be governed by the rules outside the municipality. However, their fees will not change.
