EASTERN SLOVAKIA. In Slovakia, 111 positively tested people were added by PCR tests on Monday. This is 1.46 percent of the 7,578 completed RT-PCR assays.

Antigen tests revealed 34 positives, with a total of 9,592. The proportion of positives was 0.35 percent.

The most positively tested RT-PCR tests were in the Košice region (33).

They are followed by Bratislavský (21), Prešovský (16), Nitriansky (13), Žilinský (11), Banskobystrický (7), Trenčiansky (6) and Trnavský (4).

In the last week, the number has tested positive for delta variant 158 samples out of a total of 160 sequenced samples. This represents a representation of 98.8 percent.

No new victims

There are 68 patients in the hospitals, of which covid-19 has 48 people.

There are seven patients in the intensive care units, and four people need the support of artificial lung ventilation.

The number of hospitalized decreased by four compared to Sunday.

Statistics do not indicate further deaths. So far, 12,547 people have died of pulmonary disease in Slovakia.
