The Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic registers the most registrations in the Bratislava Region (152 thousand people), followed by the Prešov Region (140 thousand people). More than 19 percent of those enrolled in the vaccination premium are seniors over 65 years of age.

In the last seven days, this most vulnerable age group makes up even the highest proportion of all registrations. During the past week, a total of 50,000 people from this age group signed up for the vaccination premium. For example, on Saturday, up to a quarter of all registered were over the age of 65.

The Ministry of Finance notes that the use of the site www.bytzdravyjevyhra.sk is possible only from the territory of the Slovak Republic. This is a security measure to protect already registered citizens and their personal data. The Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic counted on it even before the start of the registration itself.

The password will be communicated before the call

In the amended statute, the ministry also thought about the handicapped. “We have expanded the possibilities of assistance for people with disabilities, so that their password can be answered by phone, for example, their loved ones. We meant not only the disabled, but also seniors, who can also use the help of their family members or acquaintances they trust.” The ministry said that such a possibility will also be available to people who, due to their professional reasons, cannot answer the password live.

RTVS, which broadcasts Sunday evening’s draw, also commented on the addition. PR manager Filip Púchovský explained that the password will be brought to the studio by the guest in an envelope and read aloud after opening, then the password will be displayed on the LED wall in the studio, where it will be available until the call with the competitor from the competition round.

“The password will also be displayed several times in the bar on TV screens. The total time during which viewers will be able to see the competition password will thus exceed many times the possible average delay caused by different types of transmission of the broadcast signal.” Púchovský explained. He added that after a successful telephone connection with the competing moderators, they would make sure that he was watching a TV broadcast and that he had seen or heard the correct password. Subsequently, a timer will be started, during which the contestant will have to say the password in the correct form to recognize the bonus prize.

“The dramaturgy also takes into account the handicapped competitors and their opportunities to participate in the competition. Sunday’s session will be interpreted into sign language and there will also be closed captions for audiences with hearing impairments,” Púchovský remarked, adding that guests and moderators will also repeat the password several times, so that it can be captured by visually impaired competitors.
