Sovereign ride of the whites: Slovan also defeated Košice and became the winner of the Eastern Cup – Športky

KOŠICE / MICHALOVCE – Hockey players of HC Slovan Bratislava became the winners of the Eastern Cup 2021. They also won their third match in the preparatory tournament, when on Sunday they defeated the home team HC Košice 2: 1. They gained another extra point in additional raids, in which they succeeded 3: 2.

Slovan finished the tournament in the east of the republic with 11 points and even before the final duel of HK Dukl Ingem Michalovec – DVTK Jegesmedvék Miškovec (5: 1) it was clear that no one can take him down from the first place.

In the second Sunday meeting, the Slovenian representative of HK Olimpija Ljubljana dealt with Klagenfurt 3: 0 in Michalovce.

The Michalovce players also said goodbye to the tournament, defeating former participant of the Slovak DVTK extra league Jegesmedvék Miškovec 5: 1 on home ice. The most useful player of the tournament was the goalkeeper Slovana Kristers Gudlevskis.
