Rosita Quintana, star of the golden age of Mexican cinema, dies

(CNN Spanish) – At the age of 96, the Mexican-Argentine actress Rosita Quintana, a figure of the golden age of Mexican cinema, passed away this Monday.

The news was released by the National Association of Actors on your Twitter account, through which he “deeply” regretted the death of the artist in Mexico City. “Our condolences to your family and friends. Rest in Peace ”, wrote the Association.

Rosita Quintana was born in Buenos Aires on July 16, 1925 as Trinidad Rosa Quintana Muñoz. In the cinema, he starred in films such as Squash, I’m charro de levita and Don’t defend me compadre, in which he shared the screen with Germán “Tin Tan” Valdés and Silvia Pinal, among others.

His granddaughter, Nicole Kogan, had told Televisa in late July that her grandmother had a thyroid tumor detected.
