The Civil Guard has arrested the alleged perpetrator of the crime of the 18-year-old murdered this Tuesday in Palomares del Río (Seville). He is a minor, sources from the armed institute have confirmed to NIUS. The investigation is still open and new arrests are not ruled out. The City Council of Palomares del Río (Seville) has called a minute of silence for 12 noon this Wednesday, in rejection of the crime perpetrated in the early hours of this past Tuesday, when the young was fatally stabbed in this municipality. In addition, the Consistory has decreed three days of official mourning. At around 3:45 a.m. this past Tuesday, coinciding with the celebrations of the Anglo-Saxon tradition of Halloween, a person requested health care on behalf of a young man who was lying injured and unconscious in the middle of a public thoroughfare, on Federico Moreno Torroba street in Palomares del Río. Immediately, agents of the Civil Guard and members of the Public Company for Health Emergencies (061) were mobilized, who verified that the young man had been the victim of a violent attack and that they certified his death after the resuscitation maneuvers were unsuccessful. The judicial commission authorized the removal of the body at around 7:20 a.m., with the Civil Guard beginning the investigations, since the deceased, aged 18, old, had a stab wound to the chest.
