The oil company Aramco earns 42.9 billion euros in the third quarter, 39% more

The data for the third quarter represents a decrease of 12.3% compared to the second quarter, when the company recorded a record result of 48,400 million dollars (47,158 million euros) thanks to the sharp rise in crude oil prices due to the war in Ukraine and the greater demand after the pandemic. However, the benefit accumulated so far this year has stood at 130,342 million dollars (131,858 million euros), 68% more. The president and CEO of Aramco, Amin H. Nasser, has highlighted that although world crude oil prices been affected by continued economic uncertainty, oil demand “will continue to grow for the rest of the decade, given the global need for more affordable and reliable energy.” “In a context of low global investment in our sector, we are expanding our long-term oil and gas production capacities”, added Nasser, who explained that the company’s downstream expansion plans continue to advance with the aim of satisfying world demand for petrochemical products, which will be ” fundamental” for the energy transition. The net operating result (Ebit) of the oil company between July and September stood at 80,482 million dollars (81,446 million euros), 40.5% more yes; while in the first nine months it reached 242,565 million (245,442 million euros), 65.3% more. For its part, free cash flow closed the third quarter with 44,965 million dollars (45,563 million euros), 56% more. Likewise, the company has paid 18,754 million dollars (18,989 million euros) in dividends for the second quarter.
