kyiv recovers water and electricity supply after the latest Russian attacks

The inhabitants of kyiv have water and electricity again. The Ukrainian capital has “completely” recovered its water supply on Tuesday, interrupted in much of the city on Monday after a new cascade of attacks launched by Russian forces. Putin’s army has concentrated in recent weeks on bombing strategic infrastructures. The mayor of kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, has confirmed the resumption of the water supply – it was interrupted for 80 percent of homes and businesses – and has also clarified that the electricity is fully restored, although in this second case preventive cuts are applied to prevent overloading the network. The Ukrainian authorities have estimated fifty projectiles shot down in the wave of attacks on Monday alone. Presidential adviser Mijailo Podoliak has warned that “evil is always activated on ‘Halloween'”, condemning what happened the previous day on Tuesday. It’s simple. Evil always activates on Halloween.— Михайло Подоляк (@Podolyak_M) November 1, 2022 kyiv, the country’s capital, was left partially without electricity and drinking water due to a series of bombings carried out by Russian forces against facilities and infrastructure of “vital” importance throughout the country. Faced with this situation, kyiv’s anti-aircraft defense systems were activated and the population was urged “not to panic” and to protect themselves in shelters and safe places. The bombing of kyiv on Monday is part of the latest wave of “massive” attacks carried out by Russian troops against major cities. The Ukrainian authorities warned that explosions had occurred in various parts of the country, including the Zaporizhia region. In total, 18 facilities were hit in a dozen regions, most of them energy.
