Seville settles “Halloween Night” with seven sealed establishments and ten noise complaints

The operation deployed by the Local Police of Seville to control establishments with parties of the Anglo-Saxon tradition of Halloween has resulted in seven precincts of establishments for not complying with permits, exceeding the permitted capacity or selling drinks to minors; as well as ten reports of complaints for different reasons, especially noise disturbances. Thus, as a preventive measure, the Green Line of the Local Police prevented the celebration of an announced party in a Pino Montano farmhouse, as it did not have the permits required for its celebration. To prevent access to the venue, the Local Police set up an information and diversion device for the traffic that intended to reach the place of the party. With this preventive nature, a fortnight of the rest of the celebrations planned for Halloween were inspected, thus continuing with a second round the inspection work of days ago, and also other hotel establishments in the face of neighborhood complaints. During the subsequent celebration of the different parties, 15 activities were inspected, with the result of six seals and evictions, especially for exceeding the permitted capacity or not having a compulsory license, which added up to more than 4,000 people among the different hotel establishments, and ten minutes of complaints were filed for different reasons, especially noise disturbances. Monitoring the network Monitoring the networks has been essential in this inspection work social and announcements of all kinds about the organization of parties. The documentation on the ownership of the premises and the person ultimately responsible for the party, the necessary administrative permits, the maximum capacity allowed, the legality of alcoholic beverages or the security conditions of the premises have been the main issues analysed. The mayor of the Interior, Major Festivals and the Metropolitan Area, Juan Carlos Cabrera, has thus highlighted the effectiveness of the police device and the “forcefulness” with which it acted to, above all, ensure the safety of those attending the celebrations. “However, I want to emphasize a repeated call to the responsibility of the organizers of these parties and the need to respect the permitted capacity,” he said.
