The little girl already deadThe woman has indicated to the agents that she had taken pills and was taken to the hospitalThe National Police has arrested a woman in Gijón after the agents found her in bed with her dead 6-year-old daughter, in a house for rent in the El Llano neighborhood of the Asturian city. Sources close to the investigation have told EFE that the event took place shortly before midnight when the Police received a call alerting them to the disappearance of both. The agents managed to enter the the house and found the deceased girl lying in bed next to her mother. Apparently, the woman indicated that she had taken pills, and was evacuated, already detained, to the Jove de Gijón hospital for observation. Sources consulted have explained that the woman was separated and that two days ago the girl’s father, who lives outside Asturias, had given her the daughter after spending a few days with him.
