A money machine that exploded ten years ago, on the night of November 1, 2012, with a human avalanche that cost the lives of five young people between the ages of 17 and 20 and injured 14 others in an event organized by DivierTT, one of the Flores companies. In 2016, the Madrid businessman was sentenced to four years in prison as the head of the event, in addition to paying two million euros of civil and joint liability along with the rest of those convicted. But the sentence included another element. During the time that his sentence lasted, Flores could not organize any type of event either. Ten years later, the Spanish commercial registries keep the remains of this business shipwreck and the possible resurgence of the businessman, at the hands of one of his lawyers. According to Spanish business records, Flores holds 35 positions in more than a dozen companies in Spain. However, the data provided by the Flores companies before the Madrid Arena tragedy drew the start of a million-dollar business, led by firms such as Fun System Modern, opened 24 years ago and located in the Chamartín Station, where part of the most important businesses of the businessman are brought together. In 2000 (the last year in which the company presented accounts), the company had revenues of 72 million euros and 68 million expenses, in addition to 11 million debt. Another of the companies managed by Flores, Kemashita SL, presented similar numbers in that year, with a turnover of 74 million and despite them, net profits of 162,000 euros. According to Spanish records, Flores’ lawyer holds positions in 21 Spanish companies, and appears in several of them domiciled in the Chamartín Station: Zielou Restaurante and Partners, opened in 2016 and which has made losses in recent years until forcing its partners to deposit three million euros, Rolling and Partners, also created in 2016 and which seems to manage the skating rink attached to the station’s gym, Live Music Lab SL and Ático Urbano Restaurante.
