Dover: Man throws incendiary devices at immigration authorities before giving himself away – The Independent

A man threw incendiary devices at a British immigration office on Sunday in the port of Dover, England, before killing himself, a Reuters photographer reported. The assailant arrived in front of the premises of the center in a white SUV around 11:20 GMT. He got out of the vehicle and threw three incendiary devices, one of which did not catch fire, this photographer said. He then drove his car to a nearby gas station, tied his neck with an improvised noose, which he tied to a pole, before driving off again, giving himself death, added the photographer. The suspect has been identified and located. Investigations are ongoing.” Videos posted by a GB News reporter on social media show immigration center workers putting out a small fire on the outside wall of their premises. The incident comes amid the immigration debate in Britain, as illegal attempts to cross the English Channel have risen sharply.
