By Le FigaroPosted 1 hour ago, Updated 23 minutes agoSitting on the road, the dozen activists of the “Last Renovation” movement were forcibly moved by motorists before the arrival of the police. While blocking the A6a motorway this Friday, October 28 to “force the government to adopt an ambitious plan for the thermal renovation of buildings”, environmental activists have drawn the wrath of motorists forced to stop. Dressed in orange chasubles, these members of the “Last Renovation” collective blocked traffic for nearly forty minutes. On videos posted on social networks, we can notably see users, very upset, dragging activists to the side to open the way. Exasperated, some were more violent and did not hesitate to act harshly to put an end to the blockage which caused major traffic jams. At the stroke of 6:30 p.m., several police officers came to put an end to the act of civil disobedience. Eight activists, according to Le Parisien, were arrested following the intervention of the police.
