They went out to a party, they met two girls, they invited them to the apartment and, when they woke up, it seemed like a nightmare. There was no trace of the girls, neither of their mobiles nor of the brand clothes… In total, about 9,000 euros. They felt so stunned that they went to the hospital to see if they had been drugged and to the police station to report the incident. The results of the clinical analyzes confirmed that, indeed, they had suffered intoxication by benzodiazepines, a drug with sedative, hypnotic, anxiolytic, anticonvulsant, amnesic and muscle relaxant effects. This happened in the month of April and, now, the National Police has just clarified the robbery with violence after arresting two women, aged 24 and 27, in Valencia and Alicante. According to the investigation, the complainants met the two girls when they were partying at a local in Puerto Banús and, in the final stretch of the night, they invited them to their vacation apartment. In this context, the guests prepared cocktails for them that would end up canceling them. Agents from the Specialized and Violent Crime Unit -UDEV- of the Marbella Local Police Station took charge of the investigation to clarify what had happened and who was behind it. It was they who discovered that the alleged perpetrators had left the Malaga coast after the assault on the tourists. Finally, the suspects were located and arrested in the Valencian municipality of Chiva and the Alicante town of Benidorm, by virtue of a police claim for the investigated facts.
