Viskupič: This is an inflated, populist, pre-election budget of Igor Matovič – SME

“It is possible to rehabilitate aid to businesses next year even without an adopted budget. But our goal is not a temporary budget forever. Our goal is to adopt a reasonable budget, a budget that helps more than harms. A budget with a reasonable deficit,” says the chairman of the finance committee and a member of parliament for SaS Marián Viskupič on budget negotiations.”This is an inflated, populist, pre-election budget that has many billions undistributed. These are Igor Matovič’s potential nuclear bombs. If we had a standard finance minister who obeys the law and behaves sensibly.. . But we have the finance minister we have. This is the problem,” adds Viskupič, adding that no one from the coalition has yet invited them to the negotiations. Where would SaS like to see savings in the budget? Isn’t it already clear that they will not support the budget? And wouldn’t it be better if they negotiated hard and tried to comment on the budget?
