The Basque soka-tira team already participates in world championships. The amendment clarifies that this autonomous participation in international competitions will depend on “the corresponding International Federation contemplating its participation.” The approval of the amendment was the request that the PNV had made to support the law, and, in addition, it was a point that already appeared in the agreement with the PNV for the investiture of Pedro Sánchez in December 2019.
