The American company iSeeCars regularly publishes statistics on the automobile market and also focuses on the one with used cars. And precisely in today’s era of high inflation and prevailing uncertainty, those interested in second-hand vehicles are looking for cars that will serve them for a long time and at the same time will not break them with service costs. And that’s why they created a ranking of the models that statistically drive the most kilometers, which testifies to their durability. As a source, iSeeCars took 14.9 million cars sold in the last year in the US market. The goal was to find out which of the vehicles had driven more than 200,000 miles, which corresponds to 320,000 kilometers. It is this value that the company has chosen as a reference for above-average durable vehicles. At the same time, the cars had to be manufactured after 2000. Chevrolet Suburban took third place by a long distance with a share of 6.6%. Overall, Toyota is the most durable brand, as eight of its models made it into the top 15 cars. In addition to the mentioned pair, we are talking about the 4Runner, Tundra, Avalon, Prius, Highlander Hybrid and Sienna models. GMC Yukon XL, Ford Expedition, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Honda Ridgeline and Odyssey completed the rest of the ranks. Overall, it can be concluded that in terms of durability, the overseas used car market is dominated by Japanese and American cars, which most often have an SUV body. At the same time, however, it is a promise for the future that hybrid Toyotas can also drive a huge portion of kilometers and at the same time have much more complicated technology and electronics under the hood than the legendary Land Cruiser or 4Runner.
