Katka Knechtová: Depression and severe panic attacks! The singer had to be put on medication – Azet

Katarína Knechtová opened her 13th chamber. The singer talked about the most difficult moments she had to deal with in the Nočná pyramída show on Radio Slovakia. The friendly Prešov woman admitted that there were moments in her life when she was not laughing at all. In the show, she openly talked about the difficult times, which she managed successfully and now only remembers them with a bitter taste. The singer once also took up yoga and completed an Ayurvedic stay, where she mentally pulled herself together and needed a break from the hectic work environment. She even went on a trip to India in the past. However, she added that she did not escape depression either. “The thing that happened to me was that I got a little bit panicky…, it seems a bit strange to me, because basically, anyone in show business who doesn’t have depression or panic attacks, it’s as if they didn’t even have it. It became so unpleasant for me the thing is that I was supposed to go on stage and I suddenly got this panic. And I was afraid that I would never be able to do it again in my life, that I was done with music, that I couldn’t do it anymore, it’s something like that that I enter there, I have to sing and I die,” Katka described her difficult moments in life. However, she added that she had to undergo treatment, which included the use of medication. “That was just on some TV broadcast, even now I have a problem with it, that when there is a live broadcast, the conditions still come back to me. But what helped me was, of course, medication. I had to be treated for a while, because the brain remembers it and it keeps coming back, that it basically can’t be solved with some kind of therapy,” the singer concluded, saying that, thank God, she’s fine.
