Reminder of the facts. Jean-Marc Morandini, 57, is due to appear on Monday before the Paris Criminal Court. The host is being prosecuted for corruption of minors over 15 years old. This offense differs from sexual assault:
it consists in exposing a teenager to the spectacle of sexuality and/or encouraging him to engage in sexual activity himself. The case started in early 2013. According to the prosecution, Jean-Marc Morandini met a young fan, R., 15, came with his parents to watch one of his shows. There would have followed exchanges of electronic messages of unequivocal crudity, even though, according to the investigating judge, the very young age of R. could not escape the host. This one, however, maintains the opposite. Defended by Mes Corinne Dreyfus-Schmidt and Céline Lasek, he does not deny having exchanged with R. – some of the messages appear in the procedure – but trivializes this correspondence: “I do a lot of reality TV and sex is omnipresent.
