Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Saturday that Ukrainian forces are currently managing to destroy most of the Russian drones. He promised that thanks to the supporters of Kyiv, the situation on the battlefield will be further improved. TASR informs on the basis of a report taken from the Reuters agency. “Of course, we do not have the technical capabilities to shoot down 100 percent of Russian missiles and hit (all) drones. I am (however) sure that gradually, with the help of our partners, we will achieve this,” Zelenskyy emphasized. He added that “we are already shooting down most cruise missiles, most drones”. At the same time, Zelenskyi admitted that in the current wave of attacks, Russian forces are hitting large areas of Ukraine – in the west, in the central part of the country, and also in the south. Russian forces have knocked out more than a third of Ukraine’s power plants during attacks over the past week, causing widespread blackouts. As a result of the attacks, more than a million Ukrainian households were left without electricity supplies, Deputy Head of the Office of the Ukrainian President Kyrylo Tymoshenko said on Saturday.
