A car in the opposite direction causes two deaths in Gran Canaria

Sources from the 112 Canarias have reported that the accident took place around 4:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the aforementioned road. Apparently, both vehicles were traveling at high speed and collided frontally since one of them was going in the opposite direction. The two victims, the only occupants of each vehicle, were trapped inside them and had to be freed by firefighters. As a result of the impact, the two drivers had incompatible polytraumatisms with life, for which the health personnel could only confirm two deaths. The Civil Guard has instructed the corresponding proceedings, and the Canarian Emergency Service mobilized three ambulances.
