Today in Žilina, the match of the 15th round of the Fortuna football league will take place, in which the players of the home club MŠK Žilina will compete against the representatives of FC Spartak Trnava. Due to the expected riots on this day, a much higher number of members of the Police Force supervise the safety of the residents and visitors of the city. The match between the two football teams will start at 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon at the MŠK Žilina Stadium. The Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Žilina already warned yesterday about various restrictions that will be introduced on Saturday, October 22. In the course of today, the Žilina police published two videos from the streets of the city on the social network. The first captures the arrival of FC Spartak Trnava fans, who are escorted from the railway station to the stadium by a large number of armed policemen. The second video was filmed on the Parish steps near the Mirage shopping center. Footage shows a large crowd of police officers wearing protective shields slowly entering the thick smoke enveloping the stairs. In the audio track of the recording, it is possible to recognize especially the screams and whistles of the fans who gathered around Andrej Hlinka Square.
