NAKA accused two detained high school students: One of them publicly approved the terrorist attack on Zámocká – Nový Čas

An investigator of the National Criminal Agency (NAKA) charged 16-year-old BB on suspicion of complicity in terrorism. On Saturday, they delivered the investigation file to the Special Prosecutor’s Office with a request to file a motion for detention. TASR was informed about this by the spokeswoman of the Presidium of the Police Force, Denisa Bárdyová. The accusation should relate to the criminal acts of founding, supporting and promoting a movement aimed at suppressing basic rights and freedoms as well as some forms of participation in terrorism, Bárdyová explained. NAKA detained the person last Friday. Evidence of criminal activity was secured by the Slovakbro in cooperation with the Military Intelligence as part of the criminal investigation. It was an action called Balerion. NAKA also charged a high school student who publicly approved the terrorist attack on Zámocká street in Bratislava with his statements. With the consent of the prosecutor of the Special Prosecutor’s Office of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Slovak Republic, the accused was released. TASR was informed about this by the spokeswoman of the Presidium of the Police Force, Denisa Bárdyová. “As part of yesterday’s ‘Warning’ event, the NAKA investigator charged NK with the crime of Certain forms of participation in terrorism under Section 419b/1 of the Criminal Code,” the spokeswoman explained. NAKA detained the accused on Friday (October 21). “We would like to point out that one of the forms of participation in terrorism is the public approval of a terrorist attack in accordance with par. 419b of the Criminal Code, which is punishable by imprisonment for three to ten years,” explained Bárdyová.
