KOŠICE. A total of 1,638 steps, which consists of 63 floors, were overcome by the 63-year-old strongman Juraj Barbarič with a 63-kilo weight.

He carried them in his hands in a gold rubbish bin, as he is a long-term employee of a company that disposes of household waste in Košice.

A literally superhuman performance was performed by the jubilant in the premises of a 17-storey monoblock at the L. Pasteur University Hospital in Košice on Tr. SNP.

He donated half a ton of fruit to the patients of this medical facility. The same amount of fruit is symbolically intended for 7-year-old Patrik, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at an early age.

The cramps took off

The well-known strongman came to the hospital at the end of June with the idea of ​​contributing his strength to the health of patients. Because it was a really challenging physical ascent, he trained more often to endure and succeed in his charitable goal.

As this was a really physically demanding task, the time during which Barbarič wanted to bring the fruit to the very top of the hospital was extended. Severe convulsions also occurred, so the hospital’s doctors had to help the strong man.

The emergency department’s internal ambulance team gave him intravenous magnesium, which relieves the cramps.

He was thinking of a boy

After the performance, the barbarian revealed that this is the last performance in his career. According to him, he managed it thanks to hundreds of patients and his great friend Patek, on whom he thought with the heavy weight throughout those hours of the ascent.

He will go to school soon and I wish him a lot of strength to do everything at school, I thank my employer for their support and I wish all my supporters good health. “

The boy came to personally encourage Barbarič with his mother. “Father loves fruit very much. We thank Mr. Barbarič for thinking about him and we wish him good health and a long life in the next life, “thanked his mother.

Ivana Baraníková, head of the LPS Department for Internal Medicine Departments, also thanked Barbarič on behalf of the hospital.
