“The helicopter pilot landed near the scene of the accident, the crew then took care of a woman (71) who suffered injuries to several parts of the body,” approached, with air ambulances providing the patient with urgent medical treatment on the spot.

Subsequently, the woman with the so-called polytrauma was transferred to the deck of a helicopter and, in a stable state of consciousness, transported by air to the University Hospital in Košice. “The other wounded remained in the care of the paramedics,” concluded HZZS.
