The cult rendezvous of France 2 has been presented successively by Jean-Luc Reichmann, Patrice Laffont, Tex and Bruno Guillon since 2018.

TELEVISION – End clap for “Les Z’amours”. The TV game hosted by Bruno Guillon celebrated its 7556th and final number this Saturday, August 21 on France 2.

Before returning the antenna for the last time, the host at the head of the program since 2018 presented himself in front of the camera. On the verge of tears, he held up the mythical signs of the show prepared by two calligraphers.

“There it was, the last of the ‘Z’Amours’. I do not have the words. On behalf of all the teams who have worked to entertain you since 1995 … Thank you! And above all, love yourself !! ”, could we read on these signs, accompanied by the notes of “All You Need Is Love” the Beatles, as you can find out below.

The show, broadcast under the name “The Brides of the A2” from 1987 to 1992, is an adaptation of the American game “The Newlywed Game”. Reason which pushed France Télévisions to stop the program, at a time when the public service wants promote 100% French productions.

If “Les Z’amours” goes away, Bruno Guillon however keeps this late morning slot on France 2. From Monday 23 August he will host the game “Each in turn”, a brand new entertainment combining game of chance and skill game.
