Netflix is increasing the price of all its subscriptions in France from 1 to 2 euros. Will you continue to use the service?
Last October, Netflix increased its prices in the United States, but wanted to be reassuring. At the time, Reed Hastings’ company ensured that this only concerned certain countries and that we could therefore sleep soundly in France by continuing to watch Lupine at no extra cost. However, it was only a matter of time before this price hike would have repercussions in the land of cheese and human rights. It’s now official, Netflix prices increase from 1 to 2 euros in France.
This price increase affects the three packages of the SVoD :
- Netflix Essential goes from 7.99 to 8.99 euros per month.
- Netflix Standard goes from 11.99 to 13.49 euros per month.
- Netflix Premium goes from 15.99 to 17.99 euros per month.
This new price list therefore makes Netflix much more expensive than its competition (which was already the case).
