In the Ružinov district, a drunken driver (40) rammed into a pedestrian who was waiting on the island at the pedestrian crossing in the early evening of Friday (October 7). The Bratislava regional police informs about it on the social network. Traffic police officers were dispatched to the intersection of Košická and Prievozská streets shortly before 5:30 p.m., where a traffic accident occurred. They measured 1.25 per thousand of alcohol in the driver’s breath. “During the collision, the pedestrian suffered an injury that required her to be transported to the hospital,” the police reported, adding that the circumstances of the traffic accident are under investigation.
