For the start of the second week of the Vuelta, the riders of this Tour of Spain competed over 137.7 km in the south-east of the country between Santa Pola and La Manga del Mar Menor, Saturday, August 21. At the end of a stage with the classic scenario concluded by a sprint, it was Fabio Jakobsen (Deceuninck-Quick-Step) who won, perfectly put down by his train in front of Alberto Dainese and Jasper philipsen. Red jersey, Primoz Roglic had no problems keeping his leader’s tunic on this course without major difficulty.
