The judge of the Bratislava I District Court decided early Thursday evening that the accused Dušan Dědeček, who drunkenly drove into the Zochova bus stop and killed five students, will be investigated at liberty. The decision is not final, the prosecutor filed a complaint. “The court did not consider the reason for the so-called fugitive detention due to the threat of a high penalty. The court also did not consider the reason for the so-called preventive detention, since the threat of continuation of identical or similar proceedings does not arise from the actions of the accused and other specific facts,” explained the spokesman of the Regional Court in Bratislava, Pavol Adamčiak. He added that the court established the validity of the accusation. “According to the pre-trial judge, the decision on detention is not the decision on punishment. Therefore, even the fatality and inexcusability of the consequences of the defendant’s act does not justify the prosecution of the accused,” said Adamčiak. The wife dropped out The relatives of the victims experienced the worst of the court’s decision. Pavol Hamrák, the father of the young, only 19-year-old Natalia, wrote on the social network that he could not believe it. “I am the father of the dead Natálka. In addition to her, there are four more dead children and a lot of wounded. Does the judge have any conscience? We fought for such justice?” he asks in a comment on the social network. Let the judge come and look the wife in the eye and tell them that the murderer is a respectable citizen of Bratislava,” added the offended father. Police maneuvers and the escape of Dědeček After the pre-trial judge informed Dědeček that he would be investigated at large, a number of journalists were waiting for him in front of the Regional Court in Bratislava. However, the grandfather did not answer the questions and literally ran away from the courthouse to a prepared taxi. What is surprising is that the corridor was made by the armed puppeteers themselves.
