“The pensioner was tracked down. He was disoriented, but alive and well. He was taken into care by the summoned ambulance, “ informed the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Trnava.

The pensioner left for mushrooms on Friday (August 20) in the morning. When he did not return by evening, the family turned to the police for help. In addition to police officers from the Trnava District, dog handlers, professional and volunteer firefighters and volunteers also took part in the search for the man. A helicopter from the Air Force of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic was looking for a man from the air. Friday’s search was unsuccessful, and continued on Saturday morning.
