According to MP Raši, Slovakia has only one way out of the crisis: This person must leave! – New time

The dismissal of Igor Matovič (OĽANO) from the position of Minister of Finance is the only solution for Slovakia to get out of the crisis. This was announced by the vice-chairman of Hlasu-SD and unaffiliated member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, Richard Raši, in the Sunday talk show TA3 V politike. Coalition MP Peter Kremský from OĽANO responded that the dismissal of Matovič and previously Interior Minister Roman Mikulc (OĽANO) is delaying the approval of laws in parliament. He doesn’t understand what it’s good for. Kremský thinks that the opposition will not have enough votes to dismiss Matovič on Tuesday (October 4). “The fundamental question is what jersey will be worn by the MPs around Tomáš Taraba,” Raši said. According to him, the majority of Slovakia wants Matovič’s departure from the finance department. In connection with the energy crisis, the chairman of the parliamentary committee for economic affairs, Peter Kremský, emphasized that the interest of the coalition is to make energy prices bearable for citizens, the public sector and also companies. “Solutions for companies and the public sector are on the way,” he declared, adding that households will have their energy prices capped. He pointed out that the parliament has already approved a crisis plan by which the state could, in the most extreme case, resort to electricity produced in Slovakia. Raši responded that the coalition has so far failed in solving the crisis. According to the vice president of Hlas-SD, the Slovak healthcare system is in danger of collapsing due to the mass resignation of doctors. He talks about the managerial failures of the head of the Department of Health, Vladimír Lengvarský (OĽANO nominee). “The situation on the healthcare market worsened rapidly during the pandemic, when a literal fight for healthcare professionals began in Europe. Countries reacted to this by increasing the salaries of healthcare professionals,” Raši pointed out in the show. Kremský considers it important for the Minister of Health to negotiate with experts and look for a solution together. “As far as I know, the minister is doing so,” he added. He sees the problem in the changing conditions of trade unionists. During the next two months, the Ministry of Health has space to reach a definitive agreement with the trade unions. “The resignations can be withdrawn, it needs to be discussed,” repeated the coalition deputy.
