Takáčovec Zeman was detained by the Croatian authorities – Home – PRAVDA.sk

Takáčovec Matej Zeman, accused in the case of manipulating witness statements, was to be detained by Croatian authorities on Friday. TASR was confirmed by his lawyer Ivana Štefanková. TA3 TV pointed this out.

Matej Zeman said last week that he had applied for political asylum in Croatia. He cited political pressure on his person and fear for his life as reasons. TA3 reported that Zeman was to be detained by Croatian authorities on Friday after taking part in actions related to his asylum application.

Zeman is one of three accused witnesses in media-known police cases. The Bratislava III District Court issued a European arrest warrant for him on 11 August. In this case, Csabu Dömötöra was sentenced to 32 months’ probation for perjury, with a delay of five years.
