Three people were injured, including two 15-year-old teenagers, following a shooting at a carnival near Pittsburgh in the United States. The broadcaster ABC reports it citing the police and explaining that the shooting took place in front of a carousel. The shooting sparked panic among Kennywood amusement park goers in the Pittsburgh suburb of West Mifflin. Several people were injured as a result of the crowd’s stampede, police said, stating that some of them were trampled by the crowd. Allegheny County Police Superintendent Christopher Kearns explained that the assailant pulled out a gun and started shooting after an argument. The people injured by the shooter are two 15-year-olds and a 39-year-old man, all shot in the legs and treated in hospital. Their conditions are stable. Witnesses told ABC that a teenager who was wearing a black sweatshirt and an anti Covid mask would shoot.
