Aena has recorded a total of 141 flights canceled so far on Sunday in the Canary Islands due to the rains derived from the tropical depression ‘Hermine’, in addition to 17 diversions. This is reflected in the latest update from the airport manager at 2:00 p.m. However, the eight airports of the archipelago are operational, although passengers are recommended to check with their airline in case of possible delays or cancellations. By islands, this Sunday the Tenerife North Airport-Ciudad de La Laguna has registered 62 cancellations and six diversions. In addition, the airport complex of La Palma has had 23 cancellations, El Hierro Airport 20, Lanzarote eight and La Gomera four. Meanwhile, Gran Canaria Airport has registered 24 cancellations and eleven diversions. Finally, Aena has recalled that during yesterday, Saturday, the first day under the effects of ‘Hermine’, in the Canary Islands there were 79 canceled flights and the diversion of another 30.
