There is “a risk of nuclear catastrophe” in the power plant occupied by the Russians for several weeks. The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky once again raised the alarm on the situation in the nuclear plant in Zaporizhzhia, in an interview granted to various newspapers, including ‘Ouest-France’. Putin again threatened on Wednesday to use atomic weapons but “the world will not allow him”, says Zelensky, admitting that “nobody knows what Putin will do tomorrow. For him, telling the truth or lying is more or less the same thing”. “Yesterday Putin said he wanted a diplomatic solution, today he starts the mobilization, tomorrow he will say he wants a dialogue”. For Zelensky “it will not be an agreement that will work with Russia but the ability to respond with force. We must show strength, isolate Russia”. The Russians “do not understand what can happen to them if they come to Ukraine”, adds the Ukrainian president, encouraging Russian citizens to demonstrate in the square after the launch of the mobilization of 300,000 reservists. “They fear being jailed for demonstrating but they do not understand what can be done. happen if they arrive in Ukraine. They will have to shoot Ukrainians and we will have to shoot those people. ” Zelensky states that “demonstrating is always safer than waging war and it is necessary, this is how a democracy works”. And in any case “Vladimir Putin will not be able to arrest everyone”.
