Author of the second goal of the Blues against Austria this Thursday at the Stade de France, Olivier Giroud has become, at 35 years and 357 days, the oldest scorer in the history of the France team. He overtook Roger Marche, scorer at 35 years and 287 days in December 1959 against Spain. With 49 goals, Olivier Giroud is only two lengths away from Thierry Henry’s record (51).
