Viktor Orban calls for the EU to lift sanctions against Russia by the end of the year. According to what the newspaper “Magyar Nemzet” reveals, during a meeting yesterday of his party Fidesz, after Vladimir Putin’s announcement on partial mobilization, the Hungarian premier allegedly pointed out that “the sanctions are causing economic problems, an energy crisis and the ‘inflation”. And this is all the fault of the “Brussels bureaucrats”, who had “promised” that the measures would only harm Moscow. Instead, according to him, “they cause more damage to Europe than to Russia”. According to Orban, in November there could be the possibility of reviewing the sanctions and for this reason he has appealed to the 27 to have them lifted by the end of the year.
