These are Miroslav Výboh, Radek Kuruc, Lenka Wittenbergerová, Denisa Židová, Kornélia Černá, Daniel Čech, Michal Suchoba and František Imrecze. It was Imrecze who began cooperating with the police and mentioned influential people in his statement.

Some things don’t fit

According to a journalist Adam Valček however, there are some things in Suchob’s and Imrecze’s statements. Suchoba claims that he came to Carlton’s MiddleCap premises for an alleged corruption meeting with Výboh. The same is also true of Imrecze, who describes that it was the “seat of the Monaco consulate at the Carlton Hotel”. In other words, they both describe the same The offices, consulate and Výboh’s MiddleCap company are on the same floor, and Imrecze described the office in great detail, telling investigators which hallway he went to meet, what coffee table he was on the couch, etc., which precludes the possibility of exchanging space with others. , ” Valček writes on his blog.

The problem, according to him, is that in fact no such premises as described by Imrecze and Suchoba existed in 2014, because neither Výboh nor the Monaco consulate were located in the Carlton complex at that time. “The premises on the 6th floor were empty in 2014, they have not been used for a long time. The premises were not accessible to any tenants,” Juraj Kostický, CEO of Carlton Property, which owns and leases them, told the blog.

Apart from the premises, according to Valček, there are no other things in the testimonies of the cooperating accused. Imrecze claims that Pellegrini should have asked for a bribe for “supporting and finalizing the legislative process” to the virtual treasury. At first glance, it is not clear why Suchoba would pay a bribe “for the finalization of the legislative process” sometime in 2014 and did not wait for the finalization of this process, although it could be complicated – the parliament finally negotiated the law on the virtual treasury until 30.
