He cut the senior woman in such a way that she had to be operated on. Later, he attacked two more women. He spotted the first victim shortly before seven in the morning in Bratislava’s Lamač. He attacked her with a knife and snatched her purse. Rescuers were called to her by a passer-by. The pensioner has numerous injuries and is in a serious condition. According to our information, the attacker hit her eye and hand. “She underwent two surgeries and currently remains hospitalized in our hospital under the constant supervision of medical professionals,” Eva Kliská, UNB spokeswoman, told us. “After attacking the woman, he should have escaped from the place into the forest towards the territory of the third district of Bratislava. There, he observed two women, whom he threatened with a knife, and subsequently obtained purses and wallets from them. After the robbery, he escaped again into the forest to an unknown place,” added Jana Šimuneková, spokeswoman for the regional police in Bratislava. Dozens of policemen went out into the field, searching in forests and trains. They urged people on social networks to contact them if they saw the suspect somewhere. They chased the attacker through several Bratislava districts. Finally, they caught him in a field near Slovensky Grob after more than four hours.
