The situation in the liberated territories has already stabilized, Zelenskyj claims. In other liberated territories, the situation is also gradually stabilizing. The Ukrainian army is identifying the remaining Russian soldiers and saboteurs there, looking for collaborators and detaining them, and restoring overall security. He also informed that in the liberated cities of Balakliya and Hrakov, the payment of pensions has already begun, and back in the last five months, when their payment was not possible due to the Russian occupation. In his video speech, Zelenskyj also commented on the package of recommendations on security guarantees for Ukraine, which were drawn up on his behalf by the former Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance Anders Fogh Rasmussen and the head of the presidential office Andrij Jermak. Zelenskyj highlighted that the proposals are based on “clear and legally binding steps, concrete and timely measures, especially preventive measures, aimed at preventing war and cooling the aggressor in his intentions”. According to Zelensky, these are guarantees that Ukraine did not have before the Russian invasion. This was also the reason “why Russia got the feeling that it will get away with the war against Ukraine,” said Zelensky. (TASR)
