“I can’t stand this damn thing …”. King Charles III ‘against’ the pens, new episode. A video posted on Twitter by CBS shows the new ruler grappling with the signing of the register at Hillsborough Castle, Northern Ireland, as part of the celebrations to honor Queen Elizabeth II. “Is it September 12th?” Asks Carlo. The King is advised that the correct date is September 13th: “Oh God, I wrote the wrong date.” “You signed September 12 first,” his wife Camilla warns him. Carlo gets up from his desk and evidently there is some problem with the pen: “I hate this … I can’t bear this damn thing …”, says the King, getting up and walking away while trying to clean his hands.
