The dismissal of Interior Minister Roman Mikulc (OĽaNO) literally became a comedy in the parliament. Insults and accusations of corruption resulted in the fact that there was a loud talk about a law that would order the mental state of members of the government to be checked, including the Minister of Finance Igor Matovič (OĽaNO)! In his parliamentary speech, Matovič criticized the opposition that is recalling Mikulac and mentioned several cases of former governments. “Vagabonds, thieves, mafias,” Matovič said in an emotional speech. The Minister of Finance even indicated that during the government of Peter Pellegrini, bribes were also given to security guards. The Finance Minister continued his offensive rhetoric even after his appearance in the parliament. “I have sufficient evidence, but people are not willing to testify,” he explained to journalists why he did not file a criminal complaint against Pellegrini. The head of OĽaNO claims that ten to fifteen security guards told him about bribery. Pellegrini allegedly sent them to the safe to take “two centimeter bills”. According to Matovič, the money from the safe could have come from criminal activity. The coalition can count on that. The first is changing the constitution and calling early elections. And the second law will impose an obligation for ministers to undergo an examination by a psychiatrist to see if they are capable of running this country,” Pellegrini added to Matovič’s speech.
