Ellen Mackenzie from the small town of Wawa on the edge of the Canadian province of Ontario, almost had a heart attack when she noticed the position in which her dog was sitting in the back seat of the car. It was incredible, because at first glance, all the laws of physics were defied here. As the Mirror reports, Ellen also shared this moment with her fans on social networks. Her dog was sitting in such a position as if it was divided into two parts. Great Dane Howard, who was only five months old, sat curled up between the seats. On the right side, his legs were spread out, and on the left, his head was folded and he was looking at his mistress. Apparently, lying in such a position did not cause him any problems. After Ellen shared the video on TikTok, she captioned it saying that Howard’s legs are functional, healthy, and in no pain. “I still wonder how he could have ended up in that position,” he adds. He loves driving in the car Since Howard is not even a year old, he is constantly interested in everything that is happening around him. In addition, he loves to drive in the car. “While I’m standing there with his seatbelt unbuckled, he happily jumps into the front seat. As the car slowly moves, Howard gets on all fours and sticks his head out the window. Then I can just see his tongue and ears flapping in the wind,” added Ellen . As she continued, her pet especially loves when there are groceries in the trunk. That’s when he leans over the back seat to sniff everything in the trunk. “When something smells good to him, his front paws fall over the barrier and he lets his hind paws hang over the back seat. Whenever that happens, I know I only have seconds before Howard eats my purchase,” she explained with humor. They are still just getting to know each other. One day she saw only his legs and tail in the back seat. She started calling him by name, but Howard was more focused on the contents of the suitcase. After a while, he at least turned his head and put her on the back seat exactly as she later captured on the published video. “Obviously he’s comfortable in that position, although I still can’t understand it,” says Ellen. In addition, he also remembers the situation when he got to know the vacuum cleaner. “As soon as I turned it on and it started humming, Howard barked back at him. They’re still just getting to know each other,” she says with humor. People on social networks just smiled at the photo of Howard: “The look in the puppy’s eyes when his legs are just dangling. It’s beautiful. I’m having a better day right now,” gushed one of the commenters. Someone else added that he looked at the photo for several seconds and kept smiling. “Dogs are wonderful creatures,” he declared. Ellen added at the end that since the publication of the photo, Howard has grown a lot and now he can no longer lie down in that position.
