Death Elizabeth, Charles III is the new King

Charles III was formally proclaimed King by the Accession Council. The decision was signed, among others, by Prime Minister Liz Truss, Prince William, the Queen consort and the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. Shortly before there was a statement, read by the Lord President of the Privy Council, Penny Mordaunt. The ceremony is being held in the presence, in the front row, of all former British prime ministers, from Gordon Brown to David Cameron, from Theresa May to Boris Johnson.
