Weather report. The peak of heat expected in France on Monday is confirmed – Ouest-France

September is now well underway, but summer is far from over. France will thus experience, on Monday, September 12, a new heat peak. Over 35°C in the South-West Météo France estimates that it could be over 35°C in the South-West, where many monthly records could be broken. In Brittany, in the Pays de la Loire and in a very large part of France, temperatures could rise to 30°C. Only the northwest quarter will experience cooler temperatures, below the 25°C mark. A heat peak linked to ex-Hurricane Danielle As explained by La Chaîne Météo on Twitter, which also predicts slightly higher heat, this heat peak is linked to ex-Hurricane Danielle which, in approaching the European coasts, will push a mass of hot air there. Météo France specifies that this phenomenon will occur when the ex-hurricane Danielle will have been demoted “to the stage of classic mid-latitude depression”. According to La Chaîne Météo, this rise in hot air will be accompanied by a rise in sand dust from the Sahara. It will also be accompanied by thunderstorms, the “location and extent of which remain to be defined” precisely, as noted by Météo-Villes. “According to the latest scenarios, they should approach the South-West in the night from Monday to Tuesday, before spreading to other regions on Tuesday and Wednesday”, however indicates LCI. Although it never really threatened Europe, Hurricane Danielle will nevertheless have an impact on the weather in the Old Continent. chevron_leftchevron_right
