Haspro’s difficult puberty: Shy girl with big breasts! – Topky.sk

Katarína Hasprová was born on September 10, 1972 in Bratislava in the family of theater and film director Pavel Hasprová and legendary actress Sona Valentová. Since childhood, Haspro has acted in several television films under the direction of her father. They were, for example, Crime and Repentance (1982), When the Old Man from Chochoľov Dies (1990), or All People Will Be Brothers (1996). However, she went through a period of shyness as a teenager. In the show Everything I Like, for example, she recalled a performance in which she performed during her studies at the pedagogical school. “I played a bad fortune teller there. At that time I was terribly shy, a teenager, it bothered me that they knew my mother, it bothered me that my breasts were growing. I just wanted to hide it all,” she revealed. Already during her studies at the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno in the field of musicals, she performed under the direction of director Jozef Bednárik in the Bratislava theater Nová scéna. At that time, her career was started by the main character of the narrator in the musical Jozef and his miraculous colored cloak. Photo gallery (4) Katarína Hasprová

Later, she performed in the classic musical West Side Story in Brno, where she played the spirited and exotic Anita. This was followed by the main female role in the rock musical Vlasy v Praha. In 1997, Hasprova was awarded the prestigious Bratislava Zlatá lyra award. For the song by Ján Lehotský and lyricist Kamil Peteraj, Jedno zbohom, she won the journalists’ award, and in 1998 she represented Slovakia at the international Eurovision Song Contest in Birmingham with the song Modlitba. Her performances were repeatedly awarded the Literary Fund Prize. She also shone in stage works such as Cleopatra, Painted on Glass, King David, Pomade, Gypsies go to heaven, Romeo and Juliet, Báthoryčka, or Cats (Cats). In 2001, she won the bronze Slávice prize in the audience popularity poll, and she also received the same position in the next Television Screen Personality poll. In the following year, she released her second CD entitled Chvíľu so mnů leť, which was helped by the experienced author and producer Vašo Patejdl. In 2016, Hasprová received a wider nomination for the 2015 Thália Award in the Czech Republic in the category of musicals for the main role of Norma Desmond in the production of Sunset Boulevard, presented by the Moravian-Silesian National Theater in Ostrava. “I was very lucky that I got my first beautiful big role with Jozef Bednárik right from college, and then others followed. You can say that since then I haven’t stopped, that I haven’t left the stage. I kept singing and I’m still singing thank God in musicals. You can say that this is the success for me, that it’s not just one role, but that I actually had the opportunity and the gift of being able to sing for so many years,” singer Katarína told TASR Haspro.
